Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g savoy cabbage
  • 500 g bell pepper(s)
  • 300 g Cabanossi
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • some thyme
  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • ⅛ liter broth, clear
  • 1 can of beans (baked beans in tomato sauce), approx. 400 g
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Clean and chop all the vegetables (slice the carrots). Slice the Cabanossi and fry them in a pan. Remove them and fry the vegetables and onion in the fat from the Cabanossi for 5 minutes. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper, and pour in the broth. Then add the paprika and savoy cabbage and simmer for about 40 minutes. Shortly before the end of the cooking time, add the Cabanossi and baked beans and heat through. We like to serve this with a fresh roll or baguette.
