Hugo for warm days

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 ml sparkling wine, dry or semi-dry
  • 75 ml mineral water
  • 2 cl syrup (elderflower syrup)
  • 4 leaves mint, fresh
  • ½ lime(s), quartered
  • e.g. ice cubes or crushed ice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Hugo tastes particularly good and is very refreshing on hot summer days.

Place the mint leaves in a cocktail glass and press them lightly against the bottom of the glass. This is important for the aroma to develop! Add the lime segments and top up with sparkling wine, mineral water, and elderflower syrup. Finally, add ice cubes or crushed ice, if desired, and you’re done. You can also mash the lime cubes a little. This will give the whole thing a bit more of a tangy flavor!
