Wash the fruits and drain well. Place them in a tightly sealed, wide-mouthed container, cover with oil, and let them steep in a cool, dark place for at least 4 weeks. The fruits make a pretty decoration and a tasty seasoning—add them after cooking! The spicy oil enhances any dish that goes well with garlic. Add them at the end of the dish; do not cook them during the cooking process.
