Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g sugar
  • 5 tonka beans

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

for flavoring desserts and pastries

Roughly chop the tonka beans with a sturdy knife and finely grind them with approximately 50 g of the sugar in a food processor. Mix thoroughly with the remaining sugar and pour into a tightly sealed jar. A fine spice for desserts, ice cream, and pastries. Stored in a pretty little jar, it also makes a lovely little gift.
