Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 bag(s) of mixed vegetables (e.g. Kaisergemüse, 750 g, frozen)
  • 1 bag(s) of potatoes (potato wedges, 500 g, frozen)
  • 1 pack of bratwurst (300 – 400 g)
  • 2 large onions
  • 80 g butter
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly mushrooms

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Bake the potato wedges in a large ovenproof dish at 200°C for about 30 minutes until crispy. In the meantime, dice the onions and fry them with the sliced ​​sausages until golden brown. Cook the vegetables in the microwave or in a saucepan according to the package instructions until light to medium al dente. Then add everything to the potato wedges and season with salt and pepper. Add the butter in small pieces and mix everything together until the seasonings and butter are evenly distributed. If you like, you can also fry mushrooms with the onions and sausage slices. Other herbs also taste good. It’s quick, inexpensive, and delicious.
