Ebly green bean pot with ajvar

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 125 g soft wheat (Ebly)
  • 250 g water
  • n. B. Salt
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 50 g celery
  • 2 handfuls of green beans, blanched
  • 250 ml water or broth
  • 3 tbsp Ajvar, hot (more if needed)
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the Ebly in salted water according to the package instructions. Peel and dice the onions and garlic. Sauté both in oil. Wash and chop the spring onions. Peel and dice the carrots and celery. Add the vegetables and water or broth. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until everything is tender enough to taste. Add the ajvar and Ebly. Season to taste and stir in the chives. Serve on plates.
