Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 250 g flour
- ¼ liter of milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 onion(s)
- 200 g cheese, grated
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- some salt and pepper
- possibly ham or bacon
- some oil, butter or bacon rind for the waffle iron
- some paprika powder

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Vegetarian or with meat
Combine softened butter, eggs, baking powder, flour, and milk. Fold in tomato paste, diced onion, cheese, and, if using, ham or bacon. Season, then bake in a greased waffle iron. The batter yields approximately 5 to 6 waffles. Serve with tomatoes and lettuce, cranberries, or ketchup.
