made from cream cheese and cheddar, e.g. for Easter or summer parties

Mix all the cheese ball ingredients together well and form into balls. The specified amount will yield approximately 11 balls. Place the balls in the refrigerator while you prepare the decorations. To decorate, use a straw to poke eyes out of the olives. Thinly slice the carrot and cut small triangles for the beaks and slightly larger triangles for the feet. Roll the cheese balls in grated cheddar to completely coat them. Place two “feet” on each cracker, place the cheddar-coated cheese balls on top, and decorate each with the “eyes” and “beaks.”
