Spaghetti with sesame pesto

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • ½ bunch parsley, fresh
  • ½ bunch basil, fresh
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 8 tbsp oil
  • 5 tbsp Parmesan
  • pepper
  • Salt

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain through a sieve. Meanwhile, prepare the pesto: Wash and trim the herbs, then remove the stems. Place them in a blender and process. Gradually add the remaining ingredients, blending and stirring occasionally. Continue until a smooth mixture is formed. Add 1-2 tablespoons of pesto to a portion of hot spaghetti and then mix. Variation: Use only parsley or only basil instead of the mixture. The less basil you use, the milder the pesto.
