Tagliatelle with nut sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (tagliatelle)
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 100 g mascarpone
  • 30 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Finely chop the walnuts. Melt the butter in a pan. Add the garlic to the butter and sauté until golden brown. Add the walnuts and sauté for 3 minutes, stirring. Remove the pan from the heat. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Add the mascarpone to the nuts and heat gently. Drain the pasta, return it to the pot, and toss with the Parmesan cheese. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, stir into the pasta, and mix thoroughly. Serve hot.
