Broccoli pasta bake

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 500 g broccoli
  • 300 g mushrooms, fresh, white or brown
  • 5 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 250 g cooked ham
  • Fat, for the shape
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 eggs
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
  • nutmeg
  • 10 basil
  • 300g mozzarella

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Cook the tagliatelle pasta until al dente and drain. Trim and wash the broccoli, then cut it into florets. Cook it in salted water for 5 minutes. Wash and finely chop the mushrooms and tomatoes. Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté them lightly in a pan with a little fat. Place the pasta, broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, ham, and onion with garlic in a greased casserole dish. Whisk the eggs and milk well, seasoning them with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Chop the basil and add it. Pour the egg wash over the dish. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Slice the cheese, cover the casserole with it, and bake for another 10 minutes at the highest heat (250°C). Serve with a mixed salad.
