Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 large cans of tomatoes, peeled
- 500 g minced beef
- 800 g potatoes
- 1 white cabbage
- 2 onions
- ½ liter beef stock
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- e.g. lemon(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Cut the white cabbage into eighths, remove the stalk, and cut into strips or chunks. Heat oil in a pan, fry the diced onions and brown sugar. Gradually add the cabbage and fry until well browned. Add the ground beef and fry until well browned, then add the sliced potatoes. Add the tomatoes, roughly chop them, and add the beef stock and water until completely covered. Then simmer for about 40 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, caraway seeds, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
