Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml milk
  • 250 g oat flakes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Salt
  • oil
  • n. B. herbs (e.g. parsley, chives etc.), chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

vegetarian, very simple

Heat the milk (but do not boil). Stir in the oats and let them swell for about 1 hour. Peel and finely chop the onion. Add it to the oat mixture along with the two eggs, chopped herbs, flour, and cheese. Stir vigorously until smooth. Season with salt. Fry in batches in hot oil and serve. Tips: Also delicious cold. Serve with ketchup for children.
