Buttermilk Strawberry Dessert

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • 100 ml milk
  • 500 g strawberries
  • 80 g sugar
  • 80 ml water
  • 1 pack of cake glaze

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Bring the water and sugar to a boil and purée with the halved strawberries. Strain the sauce through a sieve. Mix half of the sauce with the buttermilk. Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan and dissolve the cake glaze in it. Stir into the buttermilk, pour into a sufficiently large, flat-bottomed dish, and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Then cut into approximately four portions using a ring cutter. Pour the remaining strawberry sauce over the top to serve.
