Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g bacon
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 250 g carrot(s)
  • 1 ½ liters of broth
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 250 ml cream
  • 4 sausages (Saiten, Wiener…)
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 4 slices of white bread
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

First, fry the bacon and finely dice the onion until translucent. Also finely dice the potatoes and carrots and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then, add the broth and season with marjoram, salt, and pepper. Simmer over low heat for 25 minutes, then add the cream and bring to a boil. Add the sausages and heat them through the soup. Finely chop the parsley and stir in, reserving a little for garnish. Dice the white bread slices and toast them in a little butter, then serve them as croutons with the soup.
