Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
layered in the box shape
Here’s how it’s done: Chop or press the garlic, soak the bread rolls in lukewarm water, let them sit for a while, then squeeze the liquid out with your hands and mix everything together. Except for the peppers and the diced feta! The peppers are cleaned, deseeded and quartered and set aside, just like the feta! Put the remaining mixture into a greased ovenproof dish and layer them, i.e. place the quartered peppers in between, then more minced meat, etc. Finally, sprinkle the feta on top and place in an oven preheated to 200°C. Bake for around 30-45 minutes on the middle shelf, keeping an eye on it occasionally. If you like, but it’s not absolutely necessary, you can pour some brunch sauce (half a packet of herbal brunch sauce mixed with milk until smooth) over the top. Goes well with mashed potatoes or rice.
