Potato salad with salmon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g potato(s), small, waxy
  • 350 g smoked salmon
  • 1 tbsp capers, pickled
  • 1 tbsp horseradish, grated
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise, delicacy
  • some dill, frozen
  • some chives in rolls, frozen
  • some salt
  • some white pepper
  • some caraway
  • possibly oil (linseed oil)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Boil the potatoes in salted water with caraway seeds, bring to a boil, and reduce the heat to low for 20 minutes. Drain the potatoes and let them cool. Peel the potatoes and cut into slices or bite-sized cubes. Cut the salmon into thin strips. Prepare a marinade from mayonnaise, sour cream, horseradish, herbs, salt, pepper, and capers, adding a little linseed oil to taste. Gently combine the potatoes, salmon, and marinade and let it marinate in a cool place.
