Shrimp with tomatoes and roasted almonds

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 400 g shrimp(s)
  • 80 almond(s), roasted
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 handful of basil leaves, fresh, small handful
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • e.g. garlic, chopped
  • e.g. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. baguette(s)
  • e.g. arugula

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Season the shrimp with plenty of salt, chili powder, lemon juice, and finely chopped garlic, and toss thoroughly with the olive oil. Heat the pan over high heat. Once hot, fry the shrimp for about 30 seconds on each side. Then set aside in a bowl. Melt the butter in the pan and lightly fry the tomatoes for 3 minutes. Then add the basil, shrimp, and almonds and heat everything briefly, stirring. Remove the finished dish from the heat, arrange it on arugula, and serve with baguette.
