Cheese pancakes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 50 g mountain cheese, grated
  • some salt and pepper
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Soup garnish

Whisk together the flour, milk, and eggs. Stir the grated cheese, a pinch of salt, and, if desired, a pinch of pepper and nutmeg into the batter. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the batter into very thin pancakes. Let them cool and then cut them into thin strips (Flädle). Serve these Flädle in hot meat broth!
