Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1.2 kg roast pork (pork loin with rind)
- Spice mix for roasts
- salt and pepper
- 1 liter of broth
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 pack of frozen Brussels sprouts
- some butter flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
With potatoes and Brussels sprouts, a complete dish on the tray
Score the rind crosswise and cut the meat into 5-6 cm thick slices. Rub the slices with the spice mixture and place rind-side up on a deep baking sheet, leaving space between them. Arrange the potatoes and Brussels sprouts between these spaces. Sprinkle with a little pepper and salt. Pour in the broth and dot with a few knobs of butter. Bake in the oven at 175°C (fan oven) for 60 minutes.
