Lady and Tramp Pasta
The perfect lady and tramp pasta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Onion
- 1 toe Garlic
- 200 g Zucchini
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 small Eggs
- 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 300 g Spaghetti
- 400 g Ground beef
- 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- 2 Cans Tomato sauce
- 0,5 bunch Basil
- Parmesan
- Salt
- Pepper
- Finely dice the onion and clove of garlic. Clean and grate the zucchini. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan. Sauté half of the onions and zucchini for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and let cool down briefly.
- Mix the minced meat with the zucchini mixture, egg and breadcrumbs. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and shape into balls with damp hands (approx. 2 cm).
- Heat the oil in the pan. Fry the meatballs all around for 5 minutes and remove them. Steam the remaining onion and garlic in the frying fat until translucent. Pour in the tomato sauce and cook for 5 minutes. Mix in the meatballs and cover and let stand for 5 minutes over a low heat. In the meantime, cook the spaghetti al dente
- Finely chop the basil leaves. Season the tomato sauce with salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar and basil. Drain the spaghetti and mix with the sauce. Scatter Parmesan on top.
