Carrot Rolls or Rolls for Breakfast
The perfect carrot rolls or rolls for breakfast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
additionally:
- 75 g Chopped almonds
- 50 g Cold butter
- 175 g Wholemeal spelled flour
- 125 g Rye flour
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 200 ml Milk
- 30 g Raisins
- 30 g Flaked almonds
- Mix all ingredients quickly to form a sticky dough. Knead in the raisins at the end (but can also be left out if you like).
- Place 10 piles next to each other on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with the almond flakes (pumpkin seeds also taste good) and bake in the preheated oven at 215 degrees on the middle rack for about 15 minutes.
- I have already replaced half of the milk with quark, which also tasted very good. If you leave out the raisins, the rolls taste good with cream cheese or spicy spreads. With raisins they have a slightly sweet note, so I prefer to eat them coated with honey and nut butter or straight.
