Fried Fish in Beer Batter

The perfect fried fish in beer batter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 Flour
  • 200 Beer Pils Hell
  • 3 Protein
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • Salt pepper
  • Oil
  • 500 g Fish (saithe)
  • 150 g Spinach
  • French fries
  • Dip (sour cream)
  • Lemon juice
  1. The beer batter! Beat the 3 egg whites with salt / pepper and 1 tablespoon oil until stiff. Mix the egg yolks with the flour and beer. Stir in the egg white mixture. I added a pinch of sugar! (A matter of taste) Let rest briefly.
  2. Heat a coated pan with enough oil! Dry the fish in the flour and roll it into the dough. The dough can stick a little generously to the fish when it comes into the pan. Make sure that it doesn’t get too dark. Drain afterwards on napkins or kitchen roll. (In order to use the rest of the dough, I made some baked champions)
  3. 3rd side dish: I had french fries and potato noodles, I also used them. Spinach goes well with it. I put the remaining two egg yolks (not melted) in boiling water and cooked a little so that the inner one is still liquid. I put this on the spinach. Season the fish with lemon and you’re done!
