Danube Wave Like from Confectioner

The perfect danube wave like from confectioner recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough

  • 250 g Sugar
  • 350 g Butter
  • 450 g Flour
  • 7 piece Eggs
  • 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 3 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 cups Sour cherries from the glass

For the cream

  • 0,5 liter Milk
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla pudding
  • 5 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 225 g Butter

For the casting

  • 250 g Coconut oil
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 5 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp Milk

The dough

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. First we mix the butter with the sugar. Then gradually stir in the eggs. Then mix the flour with the baking powder in a separate bowl. Now slowly stir the baking powder and flour mixture into the butter, sugar and egg mixture. Separate the dough into two equal parts. Mix one half with powdered sugar and cocoa. Grease the baking sheet. Now put half of the dough on the baking sheet and spread the dark dough on top. Drain the pots and spread them on the dough. Bake the cake on the middle rack for half an hour and then let it cool down.

The creme

  1. While the cake is baking, the cream is being prepared. To do this, we cook the vanilla pudding according to the package instructions and mix it with vanilla sugar. Then we let the pudding cool down too. In the meantime we mix the butter with the powdered sugar until frothy. When the pudding has reached lukewarm temperature, we stir the butter-icing sugar mixture into the pudding with a whisk. We then spread this cream on the cooled cake.

The casting

  1. The only thing missing is the chocolate icing. To do this, we melt the coconut oil in a saucepan and then let it cool down a little – but don’t let it get completely cold. Then we gradually stir in the remaining ingredients. Now it has to be done quickly: we spread the liquid icing over the cake covered with the cream. Now let the casting harden and enjoy! Good Appetite!
