Cauliflower Salad …

The perfect cauliflower salad … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Marinade:

  • 1 liter Water
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Diced onion
  • 3 tablespoon Sour cream
  • 5 tablespoon Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon White wine vinegar
  • 2 Pinches Salt
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 pinch Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 kl. bunch Chives fresh
  1. Divide the cauliflower into florets suitable for salad. Bring the water with salt and sugar to the boil and add the florets. Simmer for about 4 minutes, then drain into a sieve and immediately immerse it in ice-cold water, then drain the florets. Also briefly blanch the onion.
  2. Mix the marinade with the specified ingredients in a salad bowl, fold the cauliflower with onions and chives under the marinade and cover the salad for a few hours – it gets better and better when you pull it through, which is why we like it the next day .
