Make Gnocci Yourself!
The perfect make gnocci yourself! recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Dough:
- 500 g Pressed jacket potatoes
- 0,5 packet Layer cheese, drained
- 1 Pc. Egg
- 1 Pc. Egg yolk
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- Salt and pepper
- 200 g Flour
- 3 tablespoon Durum wheat semolina
- Flour for rolling
pan in:
- Butter
- 4 tablespoon Ground hazelnuts
- 4 pinch Organic orange zest
- 1st layer cheese drain for 1/2 – 1 day.
- Press the potatoes into an oblong baking dish, allow to cool a little.
- Add the remaining ingredients, best kneading by hand. To do this, I go on the table at the end, then roll the dough in foil and put it in the refrigerator. At least 1 hour
- Sprinkle the worktop with flour, roll small pieces into narrow rolls, cut off the gnocci, and use a fork to make a pattern. Put on a plate.
- Add to boiling water, but then just let it simmer.

- in hot butter, 1-2 tablespoons per serving. Add hazelnuts, gnocchi + now a small amount of orange zest (BIO) e.g. at EDEKA you can find organic oranges.
