Make Gnocci Yourself!

The perfect make gnocci yourself! recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Dough:

  • 500 g Pressed jacket potatoes
  • 0,5 packet Layer cheese, drained
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 1 Pc. Egg yolk
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper
  • 200 g Flour
  • 3 tablespoon Durum wheat semolina
  • Flour for rolling

pan in:

  • Butter
  • 4 tablespoon Ground hazelnuts
  • 4 pinch Organic orange zest
  1. 1st layer cheese drain for 1/2 – 1 day.
  2. Press the potatoes into an oblong baking dish, allow to cool a little.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, best kneading by hand. To do this, I go on the table at the end, then roll the dough in foil and put it in the refrigerator. At least 1 hour
  4. Sprinkle the worktop with flour, roll small pieces into narrow rolls, cut off the gnocci, and use a fork to make a pattern. Put on a plate.
  5. Add to boiling water, but then just let it simmer.

  1. in hot butter, 1-2 tablespoons per serving. Add hazelnuts, gnocchi + now a small amount of orange zest (BIO) e.g. at EDEKA you can find organic oranges.
