Sponge Cake with Apples and Cream Cheese

- 220 g Sugar white
- 150 g Soft butter
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 200 g Cream cheese double cream setting
- 4 Free range eggs
- 350 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 Tart apples
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- Cinnamon sugar
- Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into cubes. Sprinkle the apple cubes with cinnamon sugar to taste and mix together.
- Mix the butter, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon juice in a mixing bowl and stir in the eggs little by little. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt and stir in two portions. Add the apple cubes and fold in.
- Pour the dough into the prepared springform pan and smooth it out. Finally, sprinkle the cake with cinnamon sugar.
- Place the cake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees (top-bottom heat) and bake for about 65-70 minutes. After the baking time, take it out of the oven, let it cool down for 20 minutes, remove the edge of the springform pan and let the cake cool down .
