Cream Cheese Chocolate Cake with Apples
The perfect cream cheese chocolate cake with apples recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- For the dough:
- 250 g Flour
- 125 g Cold butter
- 125 g Sugar white
- 1 Egg
- 2 teaspoon Unsweetened cocoa
- For covering:
- 2 Tart apples
- Lemon juice
- For the crowd:
- 700 g Cream cheese chocolate
- 250 g Quark 40%
- 200 g Sugar white
- 2 packet Chocolate pudding
- 2 Eggs
- 1 packet Whole milk chocolate shavings
- Make a shortcrust pastry using the flour, cold butter, sugar, egg and the two teaspoons of cocoa. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in foil and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into small pieces. Put the apple pieces in a bowl, drizzle with lemon juice and set aside.
- Mix the quark, sugar and eggs in a mixing bowl. Add the chocolate pudding and stir in. Add the chocolate cream cheese and stir in as well. Finally stir in the chocolate shavings.
- Pour the cooled dough into the prepared springform pan, roll it out on the base and pull up an approx. 4 cm high edge. Spread half of the mixture on the dough base. Now distribute the apple pieces on top and cover with the second half of the mixture.
- Place the cake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees (top – bottom heat) and bake for approx. 60 minutes. After the baking time, remove from the oven, let cool down for 20 minutes, remove the edge of the springform pan and let cool down.
