Cheese Pancakes with Bacon

The perfect cheese pancakes with bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Spring onions fresh
  • 100 g Emmental, grated or in one piece
  • 4 Eggs size M
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 150 g Flour
  • 100 g Ham cubes or bacon
  • Salt pepper
  1. Clean and wash the spring onions and cut into fine rings, grate the cheese if necessary. Separate eggs. Mix egg yolk, milk, flour and cheese, season with salt and pepper. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff and fold in.
  2. Fry the ham cubes in a large non-stick pan until crispy. Remove and pour the egg and cheese mixture into the hot frying fat. Bake over medium heat until the pancakes are golden brown from below.
  3. Using a spatula, cut in half, quarter and bake for another 3 minutes until golden. Then tear into pieces with two forks or spoons, add spring onions and fry for 2-3 minutes while turning. Fold in the bacon.
  4. Spread on plates and serve.
  5. Paprika salad or mixed leaf salad tastes good with it.
