Leek Vegetables – Easy
The perfect leek vegetables – easy recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Leek sticks young
- 1 bunch Chives
- 30 g Branded butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 Pinches Seasoned pepper
- 2 tablespoon Water
- Cut the cleaned leek sticks into finger-length pieces; only the white pieces are used – the green pieces can be used in a soup. Cut the chives into fine rolls.
- Fry the butter with the salt in a saucepan – and when the butter begins to brown, add the pepper and the leek pieces. Reduce the heat a little and sauté the vegetables lightly, but do not brown.
- Add two tablespoons of water, put a lid on, and then cook over a very mild heat for about 10 minutes. During this time, shake the pot once without opening the lid. Serve the vegetables sprinkled with chives.
