Malaysian Salad

The perfect malaysian salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 fresh Pineapple
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 2 Shallots
  • 1 Lime, the juice
  • Sea-Salt
  1. Cut the cucumber lengthways and remove the core with a teaspoon. Halve the cucumber halves again and then cut diagonally into pieces and yellow them in a bowl.
  2. Peel the pineapple, cut into cubes and then add them to the cucumber. Finely dice the shallots and add them as well. Then add the lime juice and mix everything well. Season with salt just before serving – please not beforehand, as the salt will otherwise pull the water out of the cucumber and the cucumber will then become limp.
