Piccata Milanese
The perfect piccata milanese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 8 Little ones Veal schnitzel
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 50 g Grated Parmesan
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 Can Chopped tomatoes
- 1 Chopped onion
- Peel the onion and chop finely.
- Cook the spaghetti al dente according to the instructions on the packet.
- Pat the meat dry, flatten it carefully, lightly season with salt, pepper and dust with flour. Whisk the eggs with the Parmesan. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium temperature. Fry the schnitzel in the egg-Parmesan mixture and in the hot oil over medium heat for approx. 2-3 minutes on each side until golden. Remove the schnitzel from the pan and place in the warm oven. Put the rest of the oil in the pan, sauté the onion, add the tomatoes, heat, salt, pepper and season with oregano. Serve the schnitzel with the tomato sauce and the spaghetti.
