Potatoes and Cottage Cheese

The perfect potatoes and cottage cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Quark
  • 50 ml Whipped cream
  • 4 Pc. Gherkins
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 8 large Potato
  • Pepper
  • Herb pieces
  • Salt
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  1. Put the quark in a bowl. Cut the cucumber and onion into small cubes.
  1. Fill the pot with water and add 2 teaspoons of salt. When the water is boiling, put the potatoes in and cook for 20 minutes.
  1. Now add the cream to the quark and stir well so that it becomes nice and creamy. Add cucumbers and onions and season with salt, pepper and herbs.
  1. After 20 minutes prick the potatoes to see if they are cooked. If so, drain the water, peel the potatoes.
  1. Put quark and potatoes on plates and decorate with parsley. Tip: The potatoes also taste good with butter and salt if the quark runs out.
