Semolina Pudding with Crispy Crust

The perfect semolina pudding with crispy crust recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 liter Milk
  • 1 packet Vanilla pudding
  • 5 tbsp Soft wheat semolina
  • Vanilla sugar
  • 3 tbsp Ground hazelnuts
  • Sugar
  • Cane sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Mix the pudding powder and semolina with a little sugar and cold milk and allow to swell – heat the remaining milk and stir in the hazelnuts.
  1. Stir in the pudding powder mixture and season with vanilla sugar and salt. Keep stirring until the pudding thickens and season to taste – pour into molds and let cool.
  1. Sprinkle the puddings with cane sugar and lightly simmer so that crispy sugar sprinkles can still be seen.
