Semolina Pudding with Crispy Crust
The perfect semolina pudding with crispy crust recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 liter Milk
- 1 packet Vanilla pudding
- 5 tbsp Soft wheat semolina
- Vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp Ground hazelnuts
- Sugar
- Cane sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- Mix the pudding powder and semolina with a little sugar and cold milk and allow to swell – heat the remaining milk and stir in the hazelnuts.
- Stir in the pudding powder mixture and season with vanilla sugar and salt. Keep stirring until the pudding thickens and season to taste – pour into molds and let cool.
- Sprinkle the puddings with cane sugar and lightly simmer so that crispy sugar sprinkles can still be seen.
