Quince-apple-pear Juice
The perfect quince-apple-pear juice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 700 ml For quince juice see KB
- 5 Apples
- 5 Pears
- 1 liter Water
- 500 g Sugar
- Roughly chop the apples and pears and remove the stems and flower bases. The shell and core can remain in place.
- Bring the apples and pear pieces to the boil with the water in a large saucepan and then simmer for about 20 minutes. Then pour through a cloth and squeeze out well.
- I had 1450ml apple and pear juice.
- Mix the apple and pear juice with the quince juice and bring to the boil with the sugar.
- Then fill into clean bottles or jars and close immediately with a hot seal.
- You could also cook a cinnamon stick or cloves for additional flavor, I did it without, so I can refine the finished juice depending on my taste. Also tastes delicious warm with a dash of alcohol 🙂
