Steam Chillies
The perfect steam chillies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 70 Pc. Chili Peppers LEMON DROP
- 1 Pc. Onion
- 1 Glass Silver onions
- 1 liter Cucumber infusion
- 5 tsp Spice mixture for steaming
- Wash the chilli and cut off the “heads” (stem end)
- Peel the onion and cut into 5 parts
- Wash the twist-off jars (with lids) well and sterilize them in the oven at 110 ° C
- Bring the cucumber infusion to the boil in a saucepan
- Fill the jars with a piece of onion, 12-15 chilli peppers, a teaspoon of spice mixture and approx. 10 silver onions.
- Fill up the whole thing with cucumber infusion up to just below the edge. Wait briefly until the chillies are filled inside and pour them again if necessary.
- Close the jars tightly. Pay attention to clean glass edges!
- Boil the jars in the oven at 100 ° C for 20 minutes
- I only used LEMON DROP chillies in this case.
