Mirabelle Cream Ice Cream

The perfect mirabelle cream ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 700 g Mirabelle fresh and well ripe
  • 150 ml Fruity white wine
  • 100 ml Water
  • 250 gr Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Mirabelle schnapps or Marc or plum brandy
  • 150 ml Whipped cream
  • 2 Pc Star anise
  1. – Wash and stone the mirabelle plum. – Put white wine, water, sugar and star anise in a saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Cooling down. Remove the star anise. – Finely puree the mirabelle plum, lemon juice and white wine syrup in a blender, pass through a sieve. Mix in the schnapps. – Beat the cream until stiff into the Mirabelle puree, pour it into the ice cream maker and let it freeze. If no ice cream machine is used, the ice cream should be worked through thoroughly with the hand mixer every 20-30 minutes during the freezing process. The ice machine process takes about 45 minutes.
