Cauliflower Schnitzel
The perfect cauliflower schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
cauliflower
- 1 entire Cauliflower fresh
- 1 Egg
- 1 Plate Breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Spelled flour
Mashed potatoes
- 1,5 kg Waxy potatoes
- 0,25 liter Milk
- 1 piece Butter
- Nutmeg n.g.
- Salt
cucumber salad
- 2 piece Gardener cucumbers
- 1 cups Sour cream
- 1 pinch Dill
- 1 Splash Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
- Vinegar and oil
cauliflower
- Cook cauliflower in a saucepan with salt for 5 minutes, otherwise it will not get too soft.
- When it’s done, let it cool down a bit.
- Then cut into slices, turning first in flour, then in egg and finally in breadcrumbs.
- Heat a pan with oil, fry the breaded cauliflower until golden brown.
Mashed potatoes
- Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water.
- When they are soft, mash them with a potato masher and refine a little with me, butter, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
cucumber salad
- Got 2 gardener cucumbers from his garden from the neighbor.
- I peeled it, sliced it thinly and lightly salted it. Set aside so they can draw water.
- Then poured away the water.
- Mix the cream with lemon, a little dill, vinegar and oil and add to the cucumber.
- It was served with the cauliflower, so we didn’t need a sauce with it.
- Arrange everything on a plate. Even my Göga tasted great.
