Side Dish: Apple – Elderberry – Red Cabbage

The perfect side dish: apple – elderberry – red cabbage recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 piece Red cabbage fresh
  • 1 piece Apple Elstar
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 bottle Apple and elderberry juice
  • 1 shot Coconut oil
  1. Finely chop the cabbage and put it in a saucepan, add the oil.
  2. Now cut the apple (I only cut out the blossom, the pips and peel remain on) and add to the red cabbage with the chopped onion.
  3. Now add the bottle of not-from-concentrate juice and bring it to a boil. Everything should now cook for about 30 minutes and the red cabbage cooks.
  4. This side dish can be pre-cooked very well in the morning, or it tastes even better if it is pre-cooked the day before.
  5. There was fried seitan with potatoes
