The perfect vegan: fried seitan with potatoes and apple – elderberry – red cabbage recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Seitan
- 200 g Oil or fat for frying
- 3 size Waxy potatoes
- 2 Servings Apple-Elderberry-Red cabbage *
- Cut the seitan into slices and fry on both sides in the fat, I used coconut oil.
- Then place the seitan slices on a kitchen towel and dab off to grease.
- Peel, wash, cut and cook the potatoes in salted water.
Serving
- Place the potatoes and the fried seitan on the plate, the delicious sauce from the cabbage served as the sauce … very, very tasty with the elderberry flavor and healthy on top of that. We ate some mustard with the meat.
