Supplies: Celery – Cabbage – Salt

The perfect supplies: celery – cabbage – salt recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 piece Celery bulbs
  • 1 small White cabbage
  • 3 tbsp Salt
  1. Peel the celery bulbs and cut them into large pieces.
  2. Roughly cut the cabbage, or I still had leftover leaves from the day before.
  3. Put everything in the food processor and cut into small pieces, then place the masses on baking sheets lined with baking paper and dry in the oven at 100 degrees with the oven door open.
  4. Turn over again and again. After about 4 hours it should be ready to put everything in the food processor, add the salt and make it small again. This mass, however, has to be returned to a tray and dry for about 2 hours.
  5. Then it should be dry, but it has to cool down for another 1 to 2 hours and then put in the storage container 🙂 delicious with many things and be it just over bread topped with radishes or tomatoes.
  6. Note: the length of drying depends primarily on the oven … it took me a total of 6 hours.
