Mini Zebra Cake
The perfect mini zebra cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Egg yolk
- 130 g Sugar
- 60 ml Water
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 60 ml Oil
- 150 g Flour
- 0,5 packet Baking powder
- 3 Protein
- 1 Pr Salt
- 1 tbsp Cocoa
- 1 tbsp Rum – alternatively milk
- ***********
- Powdered sugar
- Beat egg whites with salt and set aside
- Beat the egg yolk, water and both types of sugar until foamy, then slowly add the oil and stir in
- Mix the flour and baking powder and sieve on the egg cream, carefully stir in
- Fold in the egg whites and then divide the dough in half
- Mix cocoa and rum under 1 half of the dough
- Grease and flour a 20 springform pan
- Now alternately place a spoonful of light dough and dark dough in the middle of the springform pan … always directly on top of each other – it then spreads apart automatically
- When the dough is used up, bake the cake at 180 ° C – O / U heat for approx. 50 minutes – chopsticks test !!!!
- Let the cake cool on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving
