Chocolates: Almond Fudge

The perfect chocolates: almond fudge recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla sugar, homemade
  • 200 ml Condensed milk 10% fat
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 100 g Butter
  • 3 tablespoon Ground and roasted almonds
  • 1 teaspoon Sunflower or safflower oil
  1. Put the sugar, vanilla sugar, milk, condensed milk and butter in a sufficiently large saucepan and heat slowly so that the sugar and butter can melt. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon.
  2. As soon as the mixture boils, stop stirring and boil down until the liquid is visibly reduced.
  3. Now stir again until the cream slowly turns a caramel-like color. (takes about 10 minutes)
  4. Brush a rectangular baking dish with a little oil.
  5. Let the mixture cool down a little, stir again vigorously with a wooden spoon and then stir in the roasted ground almonds.
  6. Pour this mixture into the greased baking dish, smooth it out with a palette or knife and let it cool down a little.
  7. Now cut into cubes with a sharp knife and, after they are completely cold, enjoy and put the rest in a tin.
