Chocolates: Almond Fudge
The perfect chocolates: almond fudge recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla sugar, homemade
- 200 ml Condensed milk 10% fat
- 125 ml Milk
- 100 g Butter
- 3 tablespoon Ground and roasted almonds
- 1 teaspoon Sunflower or safflower oil
- Put the sugar, vanilla sugar, milk, condensed milk and butter in a sufficiently large saucepan and heat slowly so that the sugar and butter can melt. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon.
- As soon as the mixture boils, stop stirring and boil down until the liquid is visibly reduced.
- Now stir again until the cream slowly turns a caramel-like color. (takes about 10 minutes)
- Brush a rectangular baking dish with a little oil.
- Let the mixture cool down a little, stir again vigorously with a wooden spoon and then stir in the roasted ground almonds.
- Pour this mixture into the greased baking dish, smooth it out with a palette or knife and let it cool down a little.
- Now cut into cubes with a sharp knife and, after they are completely cold, enjoy and put the rest in a tin.
