Fish with Cream Vegetables
The perfect fish with cream vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 800 g Fresh fish fillet – variety to taste
- Salt pepper
- 1 Egg
- Breadcrumbs
- Frying fat

- 2 small Kohlrabi fresh
- 3 Carrots
- 100 g Peas frozen
- 1 packet Sugar snap
- 150 ml Vegetable broth
- 50 ml Cream
- 1 teaspoon Food starch
- 1 tbsp Chopped parsley
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- Wash the fish, pat dry and remove any bones that may be present
- Salt and pepper the fish and turn first in egg and then in breadcrumbs, set aside
- Peel the kohlrabi and carrots and cut them into small pieces …. Put the kohlrabi in sticks + sliced carrots, pull the strings sideways and cut in half diagonally in the middle
- Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the carrots and kohlrabi in it – without turning them color – then deglaze with the vegetable stock and simmer for at least 8 minutes. Add the snow peas and let simmer for another 5 minutes. Now add the peas and the cream. Cook for another 7-8 minutes while trying the vegetables so that you get the right cooking point.
- When the vegetables are done, thicken the sauce with the starch and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix in the parsley before serving.
- Just before the vegetables are ready, place a pan with frying fat and fry the breaded fish in it.
- Place the fish and vegetables on the plate and serve
