Goulash Lord Nelson

The perfect goulash lord nelson recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Seasoning paste

  • 400 g Mild vegetable onion
  • 2 tbsp Oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 0,75 liter Vegetable broth
  • 1 piece Red peppers
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 tsp Sea salt fine
  • 1 tsp Whole caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp Dried marjoram
  • 1 tsp Grated lemon peel “organic”
  • 0,5 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcester sauce
  1. Fry the cubes of beef in the oil in a large casserole, stir in the tomato paste and fry the onions and peppers cut into thin strips. Then season with paprika powder and deglaze with the stock. Let it simmer for a good 5 hours.

“Lord Nelson” seasoning paste

  1. Finely grind the above ingredients in a mortar.
  2. The goulash for about 15 minutes. Before the end of the cooking time, season with the seasoning paste. After 15 minutes, season again with sea salt and cayenne pepper.
  3. I serve potato dumplings or boiled potatoes with it. Good Appetite.
