Side Dish: Tomato and Balsamic Vegetables
The perfect side dish: tomato and balsamic vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Cherry tomatoes
- 1 Pc. Onion or two shallots
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- Tomato seasoning salt
- 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- Pepper
- Basil leaves
- Peel and finely dice the onion. Halve tomatoes. Heat the oil in a pan and sweat the onion cubes in it. Add the tomatoes, fry for a minute, then deglaze with balsamic vinegar. Season to taste with tomato seasoning salt and freshly ground pepper and simmer for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
- Serve lukewarm, sprinkled with chopped basil.
