Cod in Aluminum with Red Pepper Butter

The perfect cod in aluminum with red pepper butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 piece Cod fillet
  • 2 piece Lemons untreated
  • 2 tbsp Butter at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Red pepper
  • 2 tbsp Chopped dill
  • Aluminum foil
  1. Wash the fish and pat dry. Finely grind the red pepper. Mix butter, red pepper, salt, lemon juice, pepper and lemon zest into a butter mixture. Place on aluminum foil, roll up and place in the freezer. Cut lemons into slices.
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place 3 lemon wedges on each of the aluminum foil and sprinkle with dill. Place the fish fillet on top and a slice of lemon with dill on top. Close the aluminum packet tightly and bake on the middle rack for 10 minutes.
  1. Take the fish out of the aluminum packet and serve with a slice of lemon and the pepper butter. There was also rice.
