Cod in Aluminum with Red Pepper Butter
The perfect cod in aluminum with red pepper butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Cod fillet
- 2 piece Lemons untreated
- 2 tbsp Butter at room temperature
- 1 tbsp Lemon zest
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper from the grinder
- 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Red pepper
- 2 tbsp Chopped dill
- Aluminum foil
- Wash the fish and pat dry. Finely grind the red pepper. Mix butter, red pepper, salt, lemon juice, pepper and lemon zest into a butter mixture. Place on aluminum foil, roll up and place in the freezer. Cut lemons into slices.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place 3 lemon wedges on each of the aluminum foil and sprinkle with dill. Place the fish fillet on top and a slice of lemon with dill on top. Close the aluminum packet tightly and bake on the middle rack for 10 minutes.
- Take the fish out of the aluminum packet and serve with a slice of lemon and the pepper butter. There was also rice.
