Blue and Red Orange
The perfect blue and red orange recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Squeeze the juice, total 300 ml.
- 3 Pc. Oranges
- 0,5 Pc. Lime
- 3 sheet Gelatin white
- 2 cl Cointreau
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Sugar brown raw sugar
roughly to brittle:
- 3 tablespoon Oatmeal
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Sugar brown raw sugar
rub into the bottom of the glass
- 4 Pc. Spekulatius
Peel in the cheese and fillets on top.
- 1 Pc. Orange
- 2 tablespoon Grenadine Syrup e.g. Bols
- 2 tablespoon Blue Curacao e.g. Bols
- Soak + dissolve gelatine according to instructions. Then adjust with a little orange juice and then mix everything well, cool until the mass tightens a little.
- Mix 300ml of juice with the gelatine + sugar.
pour into the glass:
- 1.) Grate speculoos, 1 tablespoon each. put in a glass.
- 2.) Mix the cream cheese with a dash of cream and sugar, also brown and orange zest, spread over the 4 glasses.
- 3.) Cut and chop orange fillets.
- 4.) Now fill up about 3 tablespoons of orange mass (thickened). Let it tighten a little (slightly wobbly) then add the orange fillets and the rest of the juice to solidify a little (not firm).
- 5.) Grenadine juice or Blue Curacao (run over a tablespoon) then pull through a little with a wooden stick. Return to the refrigerator until it stiffens.
- 6.) Crumble the oatmeal brittle and put something on top.
